Lord of the Rings Online : Global Service Coming June 1st
Turbine has announced that global service for Lord of the Rings Online will begin on June 1, 2011. Codemasters will continue servicing LOTRO in Europe through June 1st when player accounts will be migrated to Turbine. Free transfers will be offered to all players and they will be informed when the transfer tool is online.

We will be providing free account transfers to our new global service and players will be notified when the transfer utility is available," said Kate Paiz, Executive Producer of The Lord of the Rings Online.
