Where do I get harvested items? You will need to either explore the world and harvest them yourself, or buy Cabal Alz them from other players who have harvested them.
For recipes from level 1-9 you'll need Tier 1 resources. These can be harvested in Isle of Refuge (no rares) and the starting adventure zones around Freeport and Qeynos.
For recipes from level 10-19 you'll need Tier 2 resources. These can be harvested in Common lands and Antonia. (You have to have your harvesting (fishing / foresting / gathering / trapping / mining) skill at 40 to harvest in Common lands and Antonia).
How do I buy things from other players? There are active channels in game that allow you to advertise your needs and your sales. Check your server for the channels; some common names are Freeport traders and Qeynos traders. You can also buy from players who have set themselves up as merchants.
To locate a player merchant, use the NPC Broker. There is one in the trade skill instance. After locating the items you need thru the broker, you can either purchase them straight thru him (click purchase) or track down the seller in person.
